The client – an interior designer – was keen to create a garden reminiscent of their memorable holidays in Tuscany. A lover of formal gardens, Buxus hedging, topiary and three Cupresses sempervirens were planted for structure. Roses were planted at regular intervals featuring Rosa ‘Alberic Barbier’ and Rosa ‘Felicite Perpetue’ growing up bespoke hazel obelisks. Peonies, Astrantia’s, Rosemary, Verbena and Euphorbias complete the scene. Elegant furniture was sourced together with the client for lazy summer evenings spent in classical style.
