Latest Work – Small garden in Hanover
March 26th, 2009Here is an example of what can be achieved in a small garden in the centre of Brighton. The space is only 6m x 4m. A curving sandstone sett path encloses the lawn with an Ashdown brick retaining wall seen on the right. At the back right on the path room was given for the client to place a chair and admire the largest and south-facing border throughout the summer. They can also escape from the sun. Steps in the top left corner amongst the planting give rise to the illusion of more garden.
